Afternoon Sunshine...and Milder Temperatures

Milder temperatures across the greater Metro area since we got rid of that stubborn wedge of cold and hazy air.  Look for temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s today; still chilly for this time of year, but refreshing, compared to the this last weekend's cold snap.  Tomorrow we'll have some morning sunshine then clouds roll in for the afternoon with the next storm system. It looks like this system will take a more southerly track. Mountains will see snow showers from this next system Tuesday. We'll see a little light dusting of snowfall Tuesday night into Wednesday morning here in Denver. Accumulations look light. After that it is looking fairly quiet Thursday through Saturday with highs warming up into the nid to upper 40s.

Storm Force Kids

Is your child fascinated with the weather? Do they get excited when tornadoes hit, when blizzards bury the city or when weather records are broken? Then bring them to the Colorado's Own Channel 2 and FOX31 KDVR studios and let their weather dreams become a reality!

Storm Force Kids offers little meteorologists a real life experience in reporting and forecasting the weather. Whether you're an individual or a local class here in Colorado, we're inviting you to stop by. You'll have the chance to meet your favorite Meteorologist, make a cameo "live" on TV and find out what it's really like in front of the "oh so famous" green screen.
